so i wanted to get a thread going to inform people what is different in reprobed vs the original i unfortunately will not have the game until tomorrow because gamestop sucks
so far i know (i'll edit this as time goes)

Alterations
-ending has been slightly changed to a beach setting rather than in the ship
- "I hope this gets me laid" Line removed from the Kojira cutscene after beating the boss

Total Removal
- Odd job Ruin Lives - Take it Like a Man
-Almost all black hippie cortex scans
-Navi com ship animation and the dah2 intro have been replaced with lame jpegs

General Gameplay Changes
-Cheats are back kinda but only in missions not in the sandbox
-The AFK black and white screen from the original first game is back no music though and for some reason they have you do the snoop dawg dance.
-The worst part of the first remake is back in dlc form (the optional missions like abduction the racing all that)
- No Music in the zen temple on takoshima
-Mind Flash got a well deserved nerf
- Music Discs are now collectibles rather than obtained through listening to them in game
- Besides the music the furochive is pretty minimal compare to what the original offered
(would recommend watching pox and crypto's actors talk about the first game if you haven't)
- Blisk are much less of a threat
- Cannot enter the volcanic base outside of the mission nor check out the ruined variant.
- Kaiju Kojira fight is far harder, which is welcomed. However, the humans will fight you instead of "teaming" with you to fight the monster, which is very grating.

a entire mission is not a little bit on top of peragraphs of text or words removed is not a little bit

The warning literally said that changes were not made and this was a faithful remake are you high on Revelade?

The warning states that they had different morals and some content was altered. This game is still a faithful remake. Don't complain about it because the company removed a few bits of dialogue and scrapped a side job.

I think i got just about everything (not including things that stayed the same as the first remake like the quantum Deconstructer being basically useless in the remakes)

Sadly, I think the censorship was necessary just to ensure the game wouldn't be brutally murdered by so-called "critics" and people who live on being offended and utterly annihilating whomever or whatever offends them.
Had this not been done, I doubt hte game would've been allowed to be made/sold at all.
People are just far too sensitive and quick to declare everything every ism and ist under the sun.

Maybe, just maybe, in future, when all these offense-cultists have less influence on others, maybe some of the removed content will be restored.
Though I wish there was a DLC made to restore it as well, just letting people choose whether to have the more 'offensive' content or not.

Though the changed ending does get rid of the main reason Natalya left him before Big Willy Unleashed.
All he really changed this time was give her PK abilities, unlike the first one where he made her like him a lot more.
Which I mean personally, if I was them I would just make a brand new 3rd game but combine aspects of both games possibly reuse some of the locations, while removing others.
For example have the Restaurant missions be the Arkvoodle styled ones for it *Instead of Arkvoodle you are helping Pox with his side business*
Have the game start on Bikini Atol, with Natalya and Crypto running a beach resort to gather human brainstems. Crypto doing it to help furon, while Natalya is using it to enhance her abilities as a perfect Human/Furon mutant.
Then at a certain point, have the downside be revealed of her having a shorter lifespan with degrading DNA. With the Master contacting Crypto with a solution, starting the true path of the furon storyline.
Instead of running a casino, crypto has to HEIST a casino.
Keep the nexos cause they were amazing, have the saucer get destroyed during the first encounter. *A death that CAN'T be avoided*.
With Pox having Crypto do missions to rebuild it brand new, which later gets revealed most of it was to give his Holopox unit vast upgrades.

Personally I played the originals on ps4 through their ps2 emulation ran good enough for me to 100% them both. Not sure of the exact billboard you are referring to but if you can find a video of it and what the remake replaced it with i will happily add it to the list

I remember it running pretty good on ps4 but I know pc emulation on pcx2 is very buggy i remember trying it once. The first game is backwards compatible on Xbox (ran great from what i remember) but for some reason 2 isn’t compatible so you can only play the first game on Xbox

Here's hoping this leaves the franchise open to an entirely new DAH!3 game. This franchise deserves new life, a new game, a new take. And a few endings. Good, neutral, bad, and the usual ALIEN INVASION VICTORY or whatever.

Either way, I hope they make more games. I miss Richard Horvitz as Pox and Grant J Albrecht as Crypto.
