Literally not the same thing. I'm the first person to tell you about the usefulness of RPT, but splitscreen co-op is a feature the original 2 had on PS2. Where's the upgrade?

No, it's not the same thing, but that is how you can play with your friends online. They could have omitted this feature, but they chose to put it in to make it possible at least

They don't need servers. Instead the game can be hosted via P2P (i.e by the host user) using the Steam Matching & Lobbies API.

Cant even get the damn co op thru steam to work, it registers the host input (M&KB) and as a second player i have to use a controller, as i dont use an official xbox controller its not registering it properly, think their co op option suck donky bls big time and sheer laziness not to add online co op, it is 2022 after all

Regarding split screen .. theres a you tube video showing how, on PC that you can make it full screen per player (providing you can get co op to work that is), all you need is OBS -- FK seriously, you have to take these damn steps to get full screen co op https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzP71lgWibM

Not sure if Chaos Mana is trying to be a smartass about it, But what they were saying was this is not an Online Co-op game, it's an Online Local Co-op game. Remote play is all about online local coop not just online coop. Major big differences.

Edited: Also you couldn't have "omitted" from the game if it was there in the 1st place. Even if they were too lazy to added the feature, the community would probably added it in since how great it was back then.
