Yandere Simulator is getting removed PERMANENTLY!

After the Dev of Yandere Simulator was revealed doing some.... bad things, Glowstick doesn't feel proud working with him & refuses to continue doing business.
They have announced on Twitter that they'll be contacting Steam & will be removing the Yandere Simulator DLC off the M&M store page IMMEDIATELY.
You'll still keep the DLC if you already bought it.

Its unknown WHEN exactly the DLC will be removed so this is your FINAL chance to buy it before its gone FOREVER.

It seems strange to me to remove DLC because of Yandere Dev's transgression. The DLC is certainly not the best, but in principle, if tweaked, it has every right to exist.

I mean, also with the fact that they wasted so much time making a character model based on a Unity store asset YD doesn’t even own

after the stunt he pulled I doubt we will ever get the dlc back anyways, so I guess there's no reason to expect it coming back anytime soon

Why not just reskin it or make it free at this point, which would attract even more players? The content isn't cut from the game, it's just not available for purchase. It doesn't matter what the drama with the original author is. After all, the DLC was created by other people. If I'd known about its existence, as well as the game itself, would have bought both of them earlier.

It's a bit more complicated with «Silent Hill», because of the franchise rights and their cost, I guess. In any case, hate temporary licenses.

I'm pretty sure they can't make it free because yandev still owns the license. as terrible as he is, they can't just make a dlc that he licensed free without legal trouble.

Well, that's a bummer, since YanSim is barely alive, being a free indie project, at the entire dev stage. A reskin is still the most suitable option, because what's the point if it's in the game anyway? I understand that people bought this DLC specifically because of Yandere, it would be wrong to take it away or change it, but are there any other options?

Although, everything will most likely just remain as it is now. Unless YanSim becomes something big and is rehabilitated, but this is from the realm of fantasy, at the moment.

Maybe if Glowstick's lucky, Konami will give them a 3rd chance of having Silent Hill on PC sometime after the console releases, although who knows if it'll matter since the game won't have crossplay.
Who knows about Yandere Simulator though, such a shame if it never returns cause Glowstick put alot of work/love into that DLC.
