Let us into the official Discord

It is my understanding that the devs have a Discord exclusively for social media influencers, but the people who have brought this game could use an official location to voice chat with and find other players.

The devs could easily set up permissions if they want to restrict our access to certain channels, and keep their streamer only area, but its pretty ridiculous for a modern multiplayer game to not have an official Discord of some kind. It would be really useful for newcomers to find people, especially as the matchmaking can be super unreliable.

There is the DD Community one with a lot of people and most of the time a good chunk is online at any time.

Their discord isn't for social media influencers but rather, their YouTube channel Members.

You know I checked that out and I was disappointed by it. At least when I hunted it down, it didn't seem properly set up for Monsters and Mortals players. It seemed like a place for people to discuss fan art and stuff of that nature, which is fine, but its not for me.

At the least, if its Glowstick Entertainments intent to depend on a third party server for player finding in their game, they should pin that Discord on these forums for easy access to newcomers.

I don't think they depend on it, they just let it be. The server I mentioned is good for DD News if you are not following them on Twitter, and see people talk about DD or DD:M&M it really depends on the time of day. There are also DD theories channel which I tend to go to every now and than.

Good call, thank you.

One problem: You require us to verify with a phone number. My account on Discord is verified with Authy because I don't like having my mobile directly linked to servers.

Can you please change the verification method?
