Cargo in Fishing Vessel?

[Patches]

I started a new game since the big wave thingy today. I borrowed all I could to get the fishing boat, a few options and can deliver ex-small packages.

Problem is I can Activate the Mission in the log. I take the package to the boat and it won't let me sit it down. It says Cargo Loaded, but I'm holding the package.

what fishing boat ?

can't remember all details now - but I think had to "derig" some fishing equipment - for example on Conquest - to be able to use it for cargo ..

please try something around that idea ..

If it's Flippy, You can't place the cargo by now, it,s a bug.

Yow, it's the flippy. and yes darko, I had tried with or without the rigging. I gave up and got the beginning Cargo Ship and started over. Since it's a bug, I'll leave this up to help others and save them time.

can't remember if ever tried to deliver cargo on Flippy - but good to know ..

and thank you @Patches - sorry that this caused you problems - but someone else might learn in advance - and you'l see - now that things started - you will gain in no time ..

After getting all the loans I could get, I had enough to buy the Flippy, but not enough to buy fishing supplies. So I was going to run a few cargo missions in the Flippy to buy the fishing stuff I needed.

I just realized I could have used the row boat to run a few cargo missions for more money. I got rid of the row boat because I though it was interfering with the Flippy somehow.

I didn't think the rowboat cost anything to buy again but maybe i'm wrong? I don't have SaS installed right now so i can't check.

PS you can fish using the jig that you can buy from the tools area (where you get the hook) and you just need a skill point to unlock it (if you have one). You can fish just outside of the port and get some money that way but it may take a while. I just want to note that the jigging was updated with the 0.75 patch so it doesn't take as long as it used to.

I think the rowboat was free as they didn't give me nothing when I sold. And the jig, I forgot about both at the time. Most of my thought words only had 4 letters fighting a large boss bug!
