Is the long line fishing working better yet.I play the game but haul cargo for now. Tried long line at the start and thing didn't go so well. Thanks

Tried longlineing and after some training it went really well. actually hauled in 190t with the tier2 fishing boat.... once the carrying cap of 6.6t for that boat is enabled that wont be possible i guess.

and the fishing quota...just brought in around 40t of halibut with flipper, feel like a pirate...

Long lines works but has its minor issues such as gaffing or hooking smaller fish on the large hooks. In my opnion those hooks on the long lines are too big. Should be half that size but rather get the game working correctly before complaining about anything else. Any ways....if you can get the 10k hooks. Yes its 2500 meters long but the amount of fish from each line is much more then whst you get with 3 1000m lines. Two lines of 2500 got 140 tons of halibut, 20 tons of salmon and other catch.

with the 1000 hooks line i ran out of the sonar hits range in that habitat, do you just keep running?

Yea I start in an area with fish on sonar and then I just go in a strait line until it finishes regardless of sonar and then I drop another line go back the way I came making small adjustments for fish movements.

You can turn while laying down the line but you cannot do a perfect 180 and go backwards with it as the line will look like it is deploying but it really isnt and it stops if you try to go backwards with it.

With four 2500 lines I am pulling in like 2.5 mill per run with the halberd bait or whatever they are called.

The way the gane is currently you do not have to go to the actual fishing area just go far enough inside the fish habitat zone and drop lines. What ever is in that area you can catch since its early access. No fish around still brought up halibut, salmon, catfish and polluck even thou was no wheres near the actual fish spots.

dropped 8 1000 hook lines over halibut. came back to sell for a whopping 4.8 million

Updates in last month have greatly increased the play ability of long-line fishing
