Latest update wiped boat upgrades

I bought every upgrade for the Roster boat and every upgrade is gone. I went into the shop after wondering why I was back to only doing base sped and yup my $105,000 engine is gone as well as all the other parts.

Same here. can live with the ships name getting reset and turning in to a man every time i log in but loosing all the upgrades is game braking.

Are you able to re-install them at the boat shop at no cost? Or do you actually have to re-purchase them again? I'd be ok if they are still in your inventory and you just have to re-install them...but if you have to re-purchase them, that is a real bummer and I will just set this aside until its fixed.

yeah, it also got rid of my longlines on my flippy. i went from 4 to 1, was in the middle of sea so, too far to go back to rost just yet

Yup, last update wiped out all progress so far through the bugs as they are

This game is officially shelved for me until hits more playable EA.

tbf it's early access and this isn't really uncommon in EA.

Yeah, same here, lost all upgrades, but curiously the amount of money (or lack thereof) did not change at all.

It really makes me sad that I'm also going to shelve the game for now.

This game is in EA, but EA usually imply the game is at least playable. Getting all your progress wiped randomly makes the game NOT playable.

By the way in my save the "play time" also turned into 0, which seems to imply the previous saves got corrupted somehow, or became incompatible with the game after the update. If it's the later, then at least the save files themselves should still be fine, and we do still have hope this can be fixed with another update and get our progress back.

all my upgrades stayed, and money wise just cheat engine the money job done thats what i have done cheat engine money and levels

same here. Only lost my 105k engine. I wrote it off as if a viking thief sneaked in while I was sleeping and stole my engine then put it on his long boat.

Not a bad idea. I love progression in games so I am not normally a Cheat Engine fan...but for a situation like this, its a great remedy.

idk, the playtime in my saves have always been 0 and never gone up no matter how many hours i had in the game. so maybe you were lucky and had things actually recording, but i've never seen my playtimes be anything but 0
