Rolling in the waves
Is anyone else having an issue with waves moving your boat around at any speed? it makes it difficult even when i am right next to the dock and on longer journeys i could be going south-west and step away for a moment and by the time i get back im suddenly going east

yes. but thats how it is in real life too. the current and waves push ships and boats all over the place. wind doesn't help either. cruise ships in high winds get pushed all over the place. i used to work on anchor tenders and there were a few times where trying to set an anchor for a oil rig was a nightmare because of huge waves, high winds, and a current from hell. its just part of the job

Being near an oil rig and being in a harbor are a little different. Most harbors don't have 3-foot-high waves unless there's a storm."

With upgrading your Ship with better steering wheel etc. it gets a bit better, but yes. As said before - its part of the job. :D

I can understand when out at sea the waves and stuff causing movment. I was on a us navy ship the uss batton, and still got tossed around sometimes like a pinball. But in harbor many harbors have enough stuff in the way or are designed to reduce wave action. Just saying I shouldn't have to pay an extra 3ooo to repair my boat just cause the sea pushed me into it while docking into that little square.
