Hey guys, We try to take a look at Ships at Sea. But found a game breaking bug.. Check the video to see what I mean..
What happen was that I teleported back to port and soon I respawn. The bow flipped over and I wasn't able to recover from it. I tried to see if there was a way to reset the boats position but there wasn't any. After I loaded my saved game. I loaded my file and the boat and office was gone.. I dunno if this was a bug or something that I did.?
Not a bug, but somewhat irritating UI-wise and maybe a barrier for vision-impaired people: The dot cursor for the drill in the tutorial is white on a light background of the fuse box. It took me a while to recognize why I couldn't proceed to loosen the screws: I wasn't aware that there is a white dot that needs to be centered on the task objective.
Suggestion: Add a shadow (i.e. make part of the dot slightly darker or in another color) for better visibility on some backgrounds (like with the upper screen compass and info text).
BTW just my humble opinion: The hair of the female avatar looks a little like an older purchase from an asset shop. The head looks even worse with a hat. Some hair should be left visible. But that's just my 2 cents.
Playing a soundtrack title with heavy metal guitars in standard while trying to reel in fish: not productive. Especially, since the main hint for the reel line stress limit is sound-based.
Those soothing tunes from Barents Sea were better suited for that.
