For your first time we'd generally recommend normal over classic.
The main differences are some key item balancing, and specifically how they affect the number of available med slots, as well as there being a loyalty penalty with Hammond and Junior for selecting 0 rations for fuel and food, respectively.
Thank you! Normal it is then. Appreciate the reply, will continue playing (On Week 4 on the full Game, was 7 on demo) on Normal and not re-make campaign. Have an awesome day and appreciate the personal reply!
Hi, first of all, thanks for replying here on the forums. As i didn't play the beta and want to start a new game, my question about the difficulty is: Is classic easier then normal?
Most of the time in games, the most left choice is the easiest, but here i'm not sure if that is the case as well, or if classic is harder? Or in other words: Which mode is harder then the other?
Many thanks for the help!
Classic being on the left of normal makes it seem like an easier difficulty, there was no indication that it was actually a harder difficulty with harsher balancing. Which I knew this before I stared my playthrough. Shame.
Now I’m stuck playing the game on a harder difficulty the first time through.
You guys should make this much clearer.
We'll take a note of this for a planned future update
