Hunts Approval during the opening interview
So throughout my playthroughs having done the opening multiple times I've noticed something interesting. In some of them Captain Hunt says right at the end "I've got a good feeling about you Shaw" and you are given some dialogue choices on how to respond. In other Playthroughs however he doesn't say this and you just head straight to one month later. I made made slightly different answers to each of his questions on each playthrough so I'm guessing that there is a hidden counter for his approval and if it is high enough at the end he says this. My question is whether or not this has any impact on the rest of the game, perhaps when you meet him at the end the dialogue is slightly different? I doubt that something so small has any real impact on the game or its endings, but I'm curious if anyone else noticed any small differences.

Well spotted! there is a hidden counter, though it doesn't lock you out of any content later on in the game. There's a few other hints hints of what's the come in that scene including A painting of a young Minerva holding a peach, and the opportunity to find out this isn't Captain Hunt's office if you break the metronome and tell him.

And here I never even knew that breaking the metronome was even possible Guess I'll have to start another playthrough

I noticed that thing about the metronome when I got it, it made me laugh! Who's office is it? I was thinking Templeton's, but there's too much nautical stuff in there for a lubber like Templeton.

The building would be one of the man owned by Lady Minerva Appertton and their estate
