Deplorable ending bug(?)

I don't know if this is a bug, but when you reach the Vicount with only Templeton alive you can have a three way election with Hunt, with all of you giving dramatic speeches to absolutely no one. The election is still held, but there's nobody around to vote, so that means you win by default, somehow? There's even references to some phantom crew, who are not actually there because I killed them. I killed them all, Padme, even the women and children.

Is this an actual bug, or just a weird edge case that didn't get written? A shame if so, it really feels like that situation should have ended in a sweaty three-way knife fight over the captain's hat.

Also, is there a way to kill Templeton? He is the only one I haven't figured out a way to help into the grave yet.

Hey there, there's some cut content for this specific outcome we want to add back to the game in a future update, currently the worst fate for Templeton is Marooning him after he fails to beat you in the vote, if he runs against you
