Save Game System

The game is very enjoyable but I find the save tree system to be so restrictive that I haven't been able to finish the demo yet. I've had to redo so much content because the game only let's you save at very specific, and often confusing, intervals that it is sucking the fun out of the incredible characters and dialogue.

Are there any plans to make the save system a bit more friendly for folks like me? I really enjoy the game but can't say I'll be purchasing the full product if the save tree system remains the same. It's just too frustrating for me to keep redoing content because I didn't get to the "next week."

Why not just 1 user controlled save per game tree? Just anything besides that awful week by week system that is currently in the game.

this is the main thing that worries me about the game. Long time spans before autosaves and no manual save options.

The game is pretty great but yea there is no manual saving at all and it only autosaves at the start of a new day, some of which can be fairly long. You can always load the last day start but older autosaves are only available on days where major choices happen.

Agree. The save system is both difficult to understand and needlessly restrictive.
I should be able to name a save so I remember that I made this or that choice and come back to it later. At any point.

Yea... this save thing... just save state where we exit to main menu, or have a midweek save.

Manual saves is something the team are still looking at but is a longer process to avoid breaking anything
