That gives you a lot of room to play with in terms of getting people cold etc.
Don't heal freezing party members, only heal them once they get frostbite. You can send freezing party members out to hunt etc.
Of course, be careful about this. You can easily have a streak of bad luck and end up with more than 4 people with frostbite or other issues.
The conservative thing to do is to heal them of freezing, but that's not entirely needed until late game.
The engineer method will allow you to double-dip them; Cure them of freezing, then send them out to get frozen again, which gives you more room for errors.
you're wrong there. Freezing+freezing (e.g. with penguin collection, scouting etc.) = freezing, not frostbite. The only way I was able to get a get frostbite was to leave a freezing person untended through the end of the week. Hard to say whether it's intentional by the devs or not, but that's how it worked for me. Might be a bug though, so YMMV.
I think this can be better than using him as a doctor since you can use those characters.
