Joyce's purse

Hi, so I've decided to start my playthrough of the Remasters with the prequel. Not even two hours into BtS I am stuck downstairs in Chloe's house. I cannot place Joyce's purse on the table in the Living Room. I have literally tried every single option: Putting the purse on the table before I speak with Joyce, I've tried it after speaking to Joyce, I have even tried to leave or the option in which Chloe slips the money to Joyce but even after all of this, I still cannot give her the purse...

THE INTERACTION BUTTON IS MISSING. On the hotspot called "Dinning table" I see only one option - "LOOK"

Is anybody facing the same glitch? Do you have any idea on how to fix this issue?

I am having the exact same problem, but unfortunatelly i have no idea on how to fix it, so i hope the devs notice and fix it in a patch soon.

GOT THE SOLUTION! I need to say that the solution is not the best one but it works!
I strogly recommend to backup your Savefile of your progress in the Remaster and in the original Before the Storm.

STEP 1
Locate your savefile (%appdata% back to LocalLow > square enix > Life Is Strange_ Before The Storm > RemasteredSaves) copy to folder you find inside.

STEP 2
Put the copied folder into your original non-remastered game (%appdata% back to LocalLow > square enix > Life Is Strange_ Before The Storm > Saves) and press replace.

STEP 3
Launch the original BtS and get though the glitched part thus at least to the part in which you help David

STEP 4
Copy the Savefile from the original Before the Storm file (Saves) back to the Remastered file (RemasteredSaves)

STEP 5
Launch the original game. At this point a pop up window will say that your savefile has been corrupted and that it will be deleted if loaded unsucessfully. Do not worry and try to load the savefile. The game will load normally and you can continue in your journey!

Yeah it works. Just make sure to make a backup file of your current save. I have also heard that this glitched occurres when your PC is not using English as a default language.

Hmmm... it works, but in park not able to get plate from bench. i have nail file from Rachel, but nail not work on binocular or plate on bench. I must copy save file to original, to skip this scene again... :/ Game have problem to use item to item.

Vidím, že jsi z Česka, tak ti to tu napíšu po našem. Osobně jsem to nezkoušel, ale na různých fórech jsem se dočetl, že tenhle problém mají hlavně lidé, co mají počítač v jiném jazyce než v angličtině. Tudíž můžeš ještě zkusit dát si počítač do americké angličtiny. Chápu, že to moje řešení je celkem otrava. Já jsem se raději na Before the Strom vykašlal. Raději si počkám, až všechny tyhle chyby opraví.

You can also just set the language in windows to english. That also works.. for some reason.

Tak s tím přenastavením jazyka do ENG to funguje, pak už se tam zobrazí Purse. :)

Jo, taky jsem to teď zkusil. Jde to! Myslel jsem že to přepnutí do EN bude složitá operace, kdy bude PC tak půl hodiny chroupat a všechno přenastavovat, ale ono je to hned, jen přepnout a jeden rychlý restart. :)
