EDIT: Updated to use a screenshot taken directly from Before the storm game instead of a low res youtube picture. Now Comparison should be fair!

While the models seem to have stayed the same (good), the lighting got a major facelift. The textures seem to be higher res, too. All around if nothing goes wrong it's going to be a decent upgrade and an excuse to revisit Arcadia Bay.

Also Rachel reminds me of Aloy with that hairdo and a feather earring.

I'll try to get a screenshot from the actual game instead of a pic taken from a youtube video. It'll probably give a better idea of the change. I just installed BTS, will do that now.

I just updated with the screenshot from BTS that I took at high res in the game itself instead of a youtube video. It'll give a much better comparision!

I must admit that remasters don't do a lot for me visually because to me style means more than graphics and resolution.

Usually, but not always, the reason I have my eye on remasters is because I want to make sure that the game will continue to run on modern systems.
(I don't even really notice the difference between blue rays and dvds. Just buy blue rays because it is usually either less discs or they have more bonus material. :P)

Of the two images, I prefer the one on the left. It is less smooth, but it has more personality. I have still preordered the remaster, but that is more of a... "I want you to make more characters like Chloe, (especially as main characters) so I'm gonna show I am still very much willing to pay money for more Chloe like main characters." As well as showing them I buy their game mainly when they are about the gay fluff and drama.
Hell, the main reason I am giving True Colors a chance is because a BtS character, Steph, is in it, despite the trailers being meh for me.
