A missed opportunity to bring back Ashly Burch as Chloe Price

Ashly Burch voiced Chloe in original Life is Strange but due to voice actors' union strike didn't get the chance to reprise her role in the prequel. The first thing my mind wandered to when I saw a remaster in the works was the opportunity to rer-ecord voice work and add Ashly to Before the Storm. Not that the other voice actress did a bad job, but still.

That's a hard pass for me. I way way prefer Rhianna DeVries' voice acting over Ashly's as Chloe. Probably not a popular opinion, but I'm super glad they're not re-recording the dialog here.

Yeah I am a Rihanna convert, although I kicked up a stink about Burch originally. Rihanna does an amazing job.

Torn on this. I found Rhianna's voice acting to be quite a positive surprise, so it would kinda be scuffy to discredit her in the remaster by giving the role back to Ashley. Not saying I wouldn't have loved for her to come back for the role, but it is what it is.

Besides, let's not forget that Chloe is younger in BTS, so it kinda makes sense for her to have a "different voice" anyway.

I am like 50/50% on this.

Ashly Burch was the orignale voice actor for Chloe Price, but Rhianna DeVries performance was also very great.

So basic the best solution for this would be a option in LIS: Bts where you could click on what voice actor you would like for a Chloe Price.

Yep, kind of like in Silent Hill 2 in HD Remaster for PS3 and Xbox 360, where before starting the game you could choose which voice acting you want, the new one, or the old one.
