Can't Open The Journal [SPOILERS?]

I wanted to replay episode 3 and when i got to the spot where chloe tries to open the principals door, nothing works so i ask warren for help. He sends me the recipe for a bomb but i cant open the journal or the text. at the bottom it says PRESS TAB to open that message, pressing tab and nothing appears?
i really dont wanna start from scratch, what do i do?
