You may feel differently about it though - if you value graphical resolution highly, then it may be worth paying to to upgrade. Also, if you wish to show support for the series, it may be worth throwing some more money the publishers' way to encourage them to keep the series alive.
Obviously, if you don't have Before the Storm, but are interested in it, getting it as part of the remastered bundle shifts the value proposition in favour of the purchase.
Personally, I got the remasters as part of the True Colors Ultimate bundle, and have mixed feelings about my decision - not about True Colors itself, but the remasters are basically just console ports of the originals for PS4/Switch, brought back onto PC - and playing them at launch before a lot of the bugs got fixed was decidedly disappointing.
