my review on Life is Strange Remastered
My review is outdated, as authors have fixed many bugs and problems, yet Remasters still have many problems that will never be fixed. Originals will bring you all the expression you need. After finishing Originals, you can try Remasters for some visual updates.
This remastered is completely obselete.
It offers no relevant improvements but has even more bugs now than the original had.
(If you didn't know yet: Dontnod, the original developer of LIS, went bancrupt during the development of LiS and therefore they were forced to release the game way earlier than intented.
So some facial animations are missing in the originals last Episode here and there).
That's basically the only improvement of Remastered.
But TBH Unless you're playing at 4k and do have a direct comparison to the original graphics you barly see any difference.
Regarding "Before the storm" you see even less of a difference.
And since it's a remastered, they also removed some extras from the original game, like the musicplayer.
My guess is the main reason for Remastered is because of Dontnod and Square Enix having terminated their cooperaton.
