When I first saw the pic on the store page I immediatly noticed the better shadows, but that the difference would be THAT huge, i didn't expect.

It's more than I expected too. But I'll try to get a shot from the game itself to have higher resolution. That will compare better than a compressed youtube video. Still, it looks good.
I did the same in Before the Storm remastered and it also looks crazy good.

I'm currently playing LiS to take a screenshot directly from the game. I need it to be high res if we want a fair comparison... ;) it should be there in a few minutes thanks for collectible mode :P

Awesome. thanks for taking the time! I saw your screenshots in the BTS forum as well, very good work. I think the upgrade here is more noticeable. Max looks so much better

Honestly, the moment i saw the screenshots on store page, I wanted to see the difference. For most people, it'll matter to see how much remastered it was to decide if they want to buy or not (me included lol).

The lights are defintely different. Hairs look so much better in both games.
And in this LiS screenshot, I enjoy to see the mirror behind Chloe. Maybe reflection are also improved on shiny surfaces like mirror, water or stuff like this?

Lots of possibilities for this remaster! I'm really looking forward to see what they've done. Hoping the upgrades are significant because there's going to be a lot of speculation as to the merit of remastering and re-selling a game that only came out six years ago. I'd love to see a level of care and detail that justifies this re-release. Fingers crossed!

Yes dogsmokespipe. I honestly would like to see some gameplay footage of the remaster. But we already know that it's just a visual rewamp. Nothing more. Which sucks lol. They should have taken the opportunity to give more but I doubt it'll happen.
Now it's true that the visuals look way much better but for that price? with nothing else new? I'm sure more than one person will think twice about it. I know i'll end up buying because it's LiS.. i'm a real addict to this game lol. Just yeah, we should get a discount for already owning the first game or something?

I've bought LIS1 so many times across different platforms, I know I'll buy this one too as I expect it to be the definitive version. I'm surprised at the price but maybe there will be a discount as you say for people who already have the game. I am very wary of buying the new bundle with True Colors because I was so disappointed with LiS2, so I hope there is a discount or the new coat of paint is significant enough that I can stomach paying full price for this new version. I'll try to stay optimistic. Thanks for the screenshots and info!

LIS2 trailer didnt called me much. I feel better vibes from True Colors but that may be just an impression lol.

True Colors does look promising, you're right. Looks like a small-town mystery which is right in this series' wheelhouse. New protagonist seems good, new power seems good, but I'm going to have to wait for the reviews or watch people stream it before I jump in again. LiS1 is the only dontnod game I've ever really enjoyed.

True Colors is Deck Nine though. They made Before The Storm. I dont know how much Dontnod entertainment are involved.
