I didn't think it was possible for me to understand any part of this game less than I understood dirt track racing, but now I'm racing trucks and apparently literally never slowing down, always going as fast as possible is not enough to keep out of last place, or even make a good qualifying lap. This genuinely feels like God saying "No."

I have the exact same problem, on Iracing I won season championships in nascar series, but in this game, I qualify last with a gap to the guy in front. I drive as fast as the car goes and I know what lines I need to drive but its unbeatable... Even Iracing against real life nascar drivers is easier then these AI

It either means your in a low star team or you have braking assist or satbitly help on 100%

Jesus that's a bad system. I play on "hard" because the game literally mentions to you that it's handicapping your car if you don't, and I don't think I'm on a low star team, either...
