DNF .. the good, the bad, and the ugly.

1. I'm at Dover in my career, mess up the first lap and let the car basically head-on into the inside wall. DNF GOOD

2. I figure in the end of event screen I'll be able to restart the race; you know where you Accept event or Restart event after you are shown the race results. WRONG. The DNF directly exits the track and records the event. BAD

3. On the post-race results I was given SMOOTH DRIVING and preserved a maximum of car condition. UGLY

If a developer sees this, please have DNF go to a results screen that allows event restart.

Yes, I learned that lesson the hard way! LOL. I crashed with 2 laps to go at Canadian Tire because I hit the gas to early while in a lower gear (which is why Heat 3 was better for road courses imo, because I never that this issue on that game) and I hit the wall. The only way I could restart was to Alt+F4.

Turn damage off if you dont want to be able to crash out. Easy fix

I want damage and I want to be able to DNF... but I don't want to lose the option to replay the event.

whats worse on DNF is, you and another wreck that is completely a definate DNF, yet the AI car you wrecked with, dont get a DNF and infact the one i took out and had caused to flip multiple times won the race,,, hmm

DNF = ALT + F4 right away! This way the whole practice etc. session will be not saved and will restart. Learned in the hard way... but it works. (Should be an option for it as we already know how to defeat DNF boss...)

Also, there's no way for me see the replay.

And the race is simulated and you are placed last, because even though others may be parked below you when you DNF you are always placed last with a perfect condition car.
