Screen Resolution reverting each game start

Title says it all.

Every time I start Heat 5 I have to adjust my screen resolution as it doesn't seem to save. Anyone else having this problem?

I've also found accessing the options menu to be a pain without using a controller.

Yep. I am supposed to be running this at 1920x1080 and due to apparently not being able to bind a button on my wheel to work for "select" I have to use my 360 controller to get to my options to make the changes. Keeps shrinking down to the minimum or a smaller screen resolution upon every start up

Gonna bump this as even after the latest patch the game refuses to save my resolution.

Update: I posted to their official Twitter, but nobody has picked up on it yet. Really confusing that they somehow broke this simple part when it seems the game is just a reskin of Heat 4; that and how there appears to be no .txt file or similar to mess with the settings outside of the game itself as an additional way to troubleshoot

The problem still occurs. I save a resolution of 3840x2160 and after a restart the game is only displayed in a small window with a resolution of 1920x1080 ... -.-

Mine does the same thing...... saving means nothing. Although I can get to options through my wheel by hitting the upshift paddle shifter. Back to the issue ....... We can just add this glitch to the rim color issue in career mode as something else that won't get fixed but yet they will release more paint schemes in a dlc.

Same problem for me. Even when I set a resolution in the launch settings it starts in whatever resolution is default.

I'll bump it, same here. It starts in like 720 x something a small rectangle in the middle of screen and I have to go to options to get to my native 1980 x. Is there a fix somewhere?

Unfortunately not even reinstalling Windows fixed it for me. The game always starts in screen resolution 1280 x 1440 in a small window instead of 2560 x 1440 full screen.

The game still always launches in 1280 x 1440 instead of the saved screen resolution 2560 x 1440.
The developers don't seem to be doing anything to fix the issue with the screen resolution on startup that has been around for years now. Seems like such a little something to solve very quickly, doesn't it?

Try running in a window and set your settings then switch back to full screen and set them again. And also see below for information.

I don't know if your using the controller still but you can also use the keyboard defaults.
A=Enter
B=ESC
X=X
Y=Y

At least they save it now... sometimes it takes running as administrator too to get it to hold.
