You can user arrow keys to navigate menu's. You can use Page Up Page Down (i think) instead of controller bumpers. Editing "Quick Race" settings only controls the settings for that one quick race. The main menu options screen are global changes.

Launch the game with no wheel and\or controller connected and use the arrow keys and the game should default to these: A=Enter B=ESC X=X Y=Y

Options should be Page Up or Page Down then you should be able to set your controls.

How can we acces the controll settings when it is deafulted to RB on xbox controller. I have an PS5 controller, is it possible to use that?

Also if the controller doesn't work and you don't have a wheel you can still use keyboard. Even though the game doesn't support it officially -it can be done.

so, i know what the problem is that you guys are dealing with. it took me a long time to find the answer when i got a new laptop. it all has to do with the refresh rate of your display. for whatever reason, this game will only allow a 60Hz (i think 75Hz maximum) refresh rate for the menu to work. my laptop (lenovo legion 5) has a 144Hz rate and it did the same thing. i plugged in an older display with 1920x1080 @ 60Hz refresh rate, and i could get into the menu again. when using the native display, i had to back it down in Nvidia settings, and it worked just fine. i got it working on both Amd and Nvidia graphics cards.

So when PgUp and PgDn do nothing on the options menu under "race now," what is my next step in troubleshooting? My controller and steering wheel both worked just fine until two weeks ago when the game suddenly stopped accepting any controller input from either of mine. I get the feeling that I broke something when I mapped my steering wheel, and I'm just looking to un-break it. I'm so sick of answering why I'm playing NH2 and not NH5 on my livestreams.
