Is unlocking decks tied to which level you managed to get to?

Basically title. Devil Slayer Raksaki works simillarly, and Ive been wondering if this is the method used for unlocking new starter decks

EDIT: Devs just confirmed it's tied to points throughout playthroughs.

Maybe? I don't think so, at least not after the first unlock. I've had multiple decks unlock at once, and I've had decks unlock at different times in different runs. Mind you, this would have been at least a couple of versions ago, so things could have changed. The devs don't discuss all of their changes.

it pretty much seems that. I only unlocked grappler deck after getting to the last stage. Didn't unlocked the last deck as I didn't completed the last stage. It may be tied to points, but it definitely is not "just keep playing" as I found on some threads
