Index Controls 2.0 Update

This new update seemed to break the bindings for Index, tried changing them but didn't work for me.

Hi Josh,

What bindings do not work? We did swap the menu to the left joystick press from the right joystick press because we needed the right joystick for the force gun reload.

Sprinting with left stick but left stick opens the menu and rebinding the left stick till opens the menu.

Can you make an option to disable the stick being the menu? Because every other VR game in existence uses the stick to run, I keep pressing it naturally, which is really easy to do on the Index by the way, just pushing forward can often click it down accidentally. And basically its THE most annoying button to have as menu, because I am constantly pressing menu when trying to walk.

We can see if we can find some alternative bindings, we coukd perhaps to as an alternative disable the force reload and move the menu back on your right hand joystick if preffered.

You can edit your bindings in SteamVR under controller. Be careful though, if you're a lefty, changing things like crouch, jump, and mag release may cause issues. I'm in the process of working those out now.

The left stick click to menu setting is my biggest annoyance with the game on Index. I started retraining my brain but it felt kind of odd. Maybe you could add an option to touch a pad on your right wrist to bring up menu?

I am unable to access the menu at all.
Can't open the Menu during the game with Index Controllers
I have tried every single possible button and button combo with the index controllers and nothing will open the game menu. I've tried the one marked, which is the track pad on the left controller, doesn't do anything. Also tried right pad and it does nothing.I have also tried moving both joysticks forward/backward and pressing down once and twice but nothing. Using Hubris through my Steam library. Everything else, so far, is working great but can’t get the menu to open for me. It defaulted to “recruit” but eventually I would like to try other levels. Help?!

By “in” you mean down? If so, tried that even double push…didn’t work.
