LETS GOOOO UPDATE!! It seems like some of the speedrun tricks got patched based on some of these fixes but I'll take a look. Either way i'm hoping the game just runs better now without the stuttering and frame drops

Playing on the GOG version for roughly 10 hours now, actually never encountered any bugs except the elves being invisible at the end of the platforming part, but that was more funny than game breaking. This game got so much backlash but it seems like a decent game so far, it really saddens me that you had to shutdown because of it, you made really great games. The public response has been so vile and disgusting, and a lot are just responding from videos and not playing it themselves. It's an extensive bug fix list so hopefully will pander to the haters but I feel it still won't quell the flames they've created and will instead add more fuel. I want to say don't give up, the game you made is good, but it's already game over when you shut the company down because of it, which is truly heartbreaking that this whole public outcry has caused this. It reminds me of the game Two Worlds, the voice acting was atrocious and the models were poop and had some loading issues but the gameplay and mechanics were amazing and easily one of my fav games. This game has far superior graphics, yes gollum looks a little odd but you are a different company trying LOTR for the first time, its your own interpretation and what it seems a lot have forgot is that it's timed between The Hobbit and the main series so he will look different. The game and the developers did not deserve this level of vile hatred. I love the mechanic of choosing gollum or smeagol, which changes how the game plays out.
Don't give up hope, it's not a bad game, especially in comparison to the actual terrible games out there, as I say, a lot of the negative responses are from people watching streams and not playing it for themselves, lots of people jumping on the bandwagon of their favoured streamers, streamers who go overdramatic to get more views. Every game has issues, just this game has been blown out of the water to an insane degree. "Gamers" nowadays sicken me with their tantrums and demands, forcing companies to shut when they don't get their own way.

Why comment? You make yourself sound like a fool, both of you. Who cares about the number of currently playing people on a single player game, this isn't the only platform the game exists on.

Is there any way I could convince you guys to make it so the "beat the game without dying" achievement is reworked to be more reasonable?

I have every achievement besides this one and I feel if it was something like "beat every level without dying once" and dying on a stage would allow me to just restart level and still be able to get it would be way more acceptable.

I've put time into the game and I understand how to play it pretty well but sometimes weird things can happen like gollum not "being pulled" towards a ledge and just falling to his death.
I spent 7 hours one day trying to get through the game without dying and so far the general consensus is to just save scum by backing up your save.

Thanks if you consider changing it like this! You'd sure save me alot of trouble!

I played through this from start to finish at launch.
I rarely finish a game but the story and vocal performances as well as some of the beautiful environments are what kept me pushing to finish this game.

I really enjoyed it for what it was. A story focused adventure game set in the LOTR universe that takes a deep look into the psyche of Gollum and i think you guys did an incredible job of realising that.

Its great to see all these patches going out. I will definitely revisit this game in the future to play through it again.

Wall running fix is greatly appreciated. That could get rough, especially during the spider chase.

Lots of good fixes overall. Definitely rounded up a bunch of bugs to get rid of thank you. I didn't have of these, but the camera shake (if it's what I think it was) was a bit rough at times, so I'm glad if that got fixed. It could be a bit of a pain when I'd be running somewhere and the camera would twist/turn randomly.

In a future update, would it be possible to make the final crystal for the door puzzle at the end glow/have an effect? At the moment it's pretty hard to see or know that it's up there. :)

If you redownload, it should include the update for the install. Do you mean it had the exact same revision as the previous install of the game?

Ich freue mich auch sehr darauf, das Spiel zu spielen. Habe es mir am Release Tag geholt, und da war es leider noch unspielbar. Ich bin froh, dass die Entwickler noch an der Verbesserung des Spielerlebnisses arbeiten, denn in meinen Augen lohnt es sich absolut. Das, was ich bisher vom Spiel gesehen und gespielt habe, finde ich sehr ansprechend, und es wird momentan weißgott herzlich wenig veröffentlicht, bei dem sich das Spielen wirklich lohnt. Auch nach diesem Patch hat das Spiel immer noch massive Probleme mit der Grafik und der Performance, und ich hoffe, die Entwickler konzentrieren sich für den nächsten Patch darauf.
