THIS IS NOT A TRIPPLE AAA TITLE! it's an indy dev title.
so why is it selling like it's a AAA title at that price tag?
it plays like a freaking early access game made in the mid 2000s from what i have seen on more than a few youtuber channels who got the game early, it's the kind of stuff that can be seen clear as day that there are some significant issues.

do game devs not test their games anymore before launch or something?

the sad thing is Styx the video game plays better than this game when it comes to the stealth mechanics, it's an older game sure, but it at the very least works better than this game does right now, i suggest anyone who wants to play a good stealth title with a similar character and story, play Styx master of shadows and it's sequel they are far cheaper and way better polished than this game is and they are quite fun.

that game was also created by an indy dev, but they did a much better job on that title when it came down to the mechanics of the game.

It's not an indie game, the studio is not independent. The studio has at least 100 employees and the parent company is Nacon.

The game is 50 bucks, while full AAA price is usually 60 or 70. Might be different in other regions, it seems?

70 cad for me, usually it's 80 cad for aaa, so only 10 bucks difference, definitely overpriced

They make point and click games. That doesn't mean they are indie.

Furthermore:
Nacon announced its intent to acquire Daedalic in February 2022 through purchase of all controlling shares of the company for an estimated $60 million. The acquisition was confirmed in April 2022.

based off of what i have seen in more than a few videos, this game plays like a indy dev title also. they also have zero experience in making stealth games, i think the studio just chose which was the cheapest game dev to make the game because it's better to lose money on a indy game over a triple AAA game dev that costs billion's to make.

also they don't seem to beta test games anymore, we see this in indy dev games as well as the triple AAA games scene's.

it seems more like the consumer paying for the game is the tester these days lol.
