Who actually wants this game?

Forget the hardware requirements, forget everything else. Be honest. Who has sat there for decades at this point, and said to themselves "I would really love to play as Gollum." I thought when I heard people talking about this game that it was a joke. Everyone's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about hardware requirements and performance. Meme responses aside. Who is -actually- out here being like "YES. YEEESSS. I CAN FINALLY BE GOLLUM." Out yourself.

Edit: Let me add on. What person actually saw Gollum and his character and thought "I wish I could be Gollum, experience his life, be as awful and broken as him?"

The Tolkein version of anything hasn't been paid attention to by companies since the dawn of media making LotRs adaptions. Granted the movies are incredible for their age and couldn never be reproduced, but this 'game' is doomed from the concept meeting to pitch it.

Playing Gollumn is certainly something I would like to do, if the gameplay is like an actual adventure. Maybe yhou don't like it, but that doesn't mean others don't like to play as Gollum. The problem here as I understand is that it's not even a decent adventure, and that's a shame, I guess it isn't the Daedalic team that did Deponia or any of the other excellent adventure games.

Gollum is a great character.
The Story of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum™ is very good.
Only the graphic is outdated, but it runs fine.

38 minutes was my limit. Might refund or not, 10 years from now this might be a hidden gem in my library.

I think gollum could make for an interesting narrative game, exploring the inner conflict between the good personality and the bad and gollum's struggles with that inside the rich universe of Tolkien. they were kind of going for it with the choices you could make in this game but they totally botched it. instead of investing time and love to perfect and polish they went for the cynical get rich quick cash grab just because they had a famous IP.
