Endgame: Road To Salvation

Endgame: Road To Salvation

Can't go back?
You can't revisit safe zones you've already visited? (The door won't open so I assume I can't). So how do you take your caravan with you to salvation if you already sent them home and can't go back to get them?

I have a couple other questions.

So far I've leaned towards just finding a vehicle with the biggest inventory (SUV) and throwing a cargo rack on that and just using that. I'm not sure what the benefit is of using an 18 wheeler and sacrificing your precious inventory space.

I'm not really too sure what you're trying to ask, but sounds like you've got it figured out? There is no "home" in the game, and in most video games things often happen behind the scenes, away from the player's sight. If you are confused about any other game mechanics, lots of people have found some useful info in the tips and tricks section.

Semi tractors are designed to haul semi trailers, which haul cargo/deliveries instead of inventory, so it's really just down to your needs or goals at the time.

My question is : Am I only moving forward, or are there times when I'm gonna be revisiting previous locations/ strongholds?

From the way the game described it, I was under the impression I'd eventually be driving back "home" to lead the caravan to salvation or something. This is why me not being able to re-enter a stronghold I've already left confused me.

I'll check out that tips and tricks section (thanks for the rec), but can I store vehicles for later?
For instance, I find a SUV in good shape and want to use that as my main vehicle, but want to store it in a stronghold so I can get a semi truck in the next area.

No, you're only driving forward. Think of them like levels, you're just getting from one end to the other, while stopping for loot/upgrades along the way if you want.
