New DLC question

Bought new DLC, but unlike bree DLC how does this one work since its part of the main game. When does it work? Certain barriers to unlock? Or are the new girls part of the game now ? I know Kat was in the game already, but is just meeting her going to the electronic store still?

The new DLC is geared around adding the new girls. The WIKI has a section for the three. So , you can play them from where ever you are or you can start a new game and they will show up much sooner than the end of the game. I had no problems with it as far as working. I was not happy having to start over to get Bree in the gamer path to do Kat but that was my only dislike with the DLC. Have fun!
