confused about Emma, do I have to restart?

Alright so I've basically kept my character from having a relationship with anybody. I've gone on a few dates but never taken anyone home. The only exception to this is Sam, I did the revenge path and she introduced me as her boyfriend. I corrected that situation and friend zoned her (as well as had her do the break up conversation with Emma). No matter what I do MC says he has a girlfriend during the picnic scene, but he is single on his status. I don't know what is causing MC to say this. The only other thing I can think of is I recently finished the investigation at work and was forced to take Cassidy as a pet (is this trigger screwing it up? I didn't have a choice on it. MC just decided it on his own)

Did taking the revenge path screw everything up? Is it possible to collar Sam and date Emma? If I get passed Emma's judgement am I free to create harems and be a general degenerate?

There is a convo during one of Emma's dates that can have a major effect on this point revolving around anime, according to the wiki (which I recommend you check because the Emma path is a nightmare reading through it myself) she asks you about if you have a GF and you have some choices with something along the lines of saying there are no more episodes of a show being the best option with the others potentially being bad.

That said the Cassidy thing is a likely problem and is best to try not to trigger the start of that path first, Sam on the other hand and Bree I believe are both okay to date in Emma's book.

Alright I'll give it another go and purposefully keep my work progression lower. Thankfully with the cheats enabled it makes it easier to restart my progress. Although because I had so many idle days waiting for triggers I'll probably just use money codes to avoid working. I have more then enough time to just learn skills from books.

I restarted myself, didn't tell Sam about Ryan until she came to me for sex (unavoidable) interacted with NO other girls other than what you're forced to do and went straight for Emma, and that worked for me.

Didn't go to work at all on that file so maybe that's it.

I tried this yesterday, Fail. Even with 80% LP and being Emma's boyfriend, she still wouldn't kiss MC. I observed one thing that might cause problems. I went revenge in the Sam ark. The wiki states that Emma won't appear until the revenge ark is complete. False at least in my play through. Emma appeared when Sam was at 60% LP. I progressed the Emma ark while ignoring Sam's ark. However even the story tracker claimed I needed to wait for a call from Sam before dating Emma. So I spawned Emma too soon and progressed her story before I should have is the only thing I can think of.

I didn't work so no Cassidy, I only had coffee with Bree, which by the wiki Emma likes, Bree and Emma get it on during the sleep over so. Emma's ok with Bree. Never had a girlfriend, passed that check with Emma, as I said got right to the end, where Emma lets MC perform oral was asked to become her boyfriend etc. but still MC could only kiss the puss.

Emma only seems to kiss the MC when an event triggers and she gets overwhelmed with emotions. Doesn't really let him initiate from my experience.

Then how would the achievement unlock, yea Emma kissed MC 3/4 times but... Guess it doesn't really matter, I've now kissed and have had coffee with all girls except Kylie, and going by achievements, I haven't been with half of them ;}

If you had made progress with Emma up to the HJ scene (Before the latest patch) you should now be able to kiss her in the latest version. I was able to do that even on my old file before she rejected me.

It works for me, not sure where exactly everyone else was messing up. At least us Emma fans have good taste. The new content is well worth figuring out how to get it, her story is so sweet.

I think the Benji line is a bad choice. I picked that option and still got the "no more dates" decision in the picnic date. I've followed the guide (with the movie kiss, and Bree requisitements) so I should have met the requirements to keep dating her.
I have all the harems active or finished (in the best possible way) all the girls at max love and kinky and all possible sex slaves at the moment in the same playthrough (working on Harmony corruption now), but lost Emma. She didn't leave for good, but her Love is locked at 12. Maybe she can be "re-dateable" in some way.
