Why did I not save?!

So, out of curiosity, has anyone had a moment of sheer stupidity like me?
I had all the endings I wanted for achieve on quicksave, only did one. Just to test something started a new one. Was going to go back and properly save, forgot to do that, QS slots got refilled, and now I no longer have it.
I don't know if there is a way to get it back or not, but I've already submitted myself to the fate of going through it all again.
Specifically waited a couple months just so I could come back without feeling too bad about it.
As I do replay it a couple times a year because I like it and like to see all the progress made each time.
Even now already spotted a couple differences. So really, this is just my own curiosity of if anyone else has done something similarly stupid.

I mean, why did you not save?
