What are your 'must have' technologies?
I usually get around 30k points on reasonable (highscore ~33k). I don't even bother playing without enlightenment (completely removing the need of 1 resource is huge) and hyperdrive tp connect everything without spending to much in-game time. So what is your way of getting a good score?

Anything that moves planets or lets your change standard lanes. Hyperlanes are so good with the upgrade (longer range than normal slipways).

Enlightenment is good but can be a trap as it makes fulfillment from forgeworlds harder at times.

I've been forcing myself to play full random to prevent my mind from getting stuck in certain play patterns. I used to heavily crutch on planet cracking to solve my money issues on hardest. Hyperlanes is excelent for 25k to 35k hardest runs, my reliable 25k+ runs typically use hyperlanes. But it's a trap, locking you out of teleport + enervated for those godlike 50k+ scores, which I've so far failed at.

What technology is enervated? My teleporter runs have never been so good, because teleporter is a harder to get and takes longer to build, so I am unable to connect all the planets I want. I have found hyperdrive + slip relay let's me pretty much connect everything I want by year 25. So how does teleporter allow you to get to 50k?

it'd have to be this one: "Everted slipway: Slipways built this way are twice as expensive, but can be built very fast, effectively taking no game time"

Makes sense that you could get a lot of victory points with 0-time slipway construction. perhaps the craziest mix could be vattori "each year has 15 months" + everted slipways + the dendr tech to make colonizing a planet take 1 month and 0 cost (nanites).

My best score was driven by enervated slipways + colonization nanobots. ~47k score on reasonable. Zero month slipways and 1 month colonies mean you can cram an absolutely absurd amount of actions into a few years. Microforges are also very good.

I really don’t see any tech as must have though. There are a bunch of good tools available, its just a matter of how you go about things.

Mind Control is a favorite of mine. It can make it easier to use planets in really awkward positions while keeping the happiness score high. Just gotta make sure I've got the money for it because it's really bloody expensive.

Enlightenment is good, for dealing with those planets where I just cant find a good way to get them the bloody boxes they want, or that critical extra import/export route.

And then Geoharvesting, even when I no longer need the money it can get unneeded planets out of the way of important routes.

Though I dont see any techs as TRULY necessary. These are just ones I like to have if I can.
