Snow Crab population issues

I am not able to find any snow crab during the season on sonar. as soon as crab season ends they pop up all over the sonar. anyone have a fix?

If in season there should be lots around windfarm area and SE of that. Following the last update I have moved onto stable rather than beta and in December fyi

from the deep hole left of the wind farm go up to the next shallow layer then try following the contour up,I found loads of crab and lobster there

Do they show up on sonar for you or do you just drop pots and find crab

they were on sonar but the population on the whole is very sparse.

found lobster while in crab boat, went and got lobster boat get back to spot and nothing there lol this game is broke as hell. buy tip to find crab and all thats there is lobster

Fish habitats move around the map, even if you see lobster and then travel 7-8hrs back to port and then spent 7-8hrs back out again, habitat could have moved to another spot.

as long as the new spot is along a realistic path they should be easy to pinpoint given a bit of a search.

Depends on what time of the year you are in, but there should be plenty south of Ingalls Head and down to the map edge in the south
