Damaged Nets

Can someone explain to me why my nets brand new nets are being damaged before they hit the water for the first time? And why they are being damaged when hauling?

i have the same issue i even managed to damage 2 nets as fully stopped and them assign a crew to hauling the nets back to the boat

nets are bugged, if one net breaks every net after that breaks 100% chance.
Avoid net fishing until they fix it.
its a NPC issue.
had a npc haul net and i took the fish, got a perfect hit and it still broke

Ya it seems there is a fine line when it comes to speed. When I set at 1-2 knots 1 out of 3 nets are damaged. Dead stop for hauling works fine but the odd one comes up damaged. Definitely something for them to fix/tweak
