Fishing: North Atlantic

Looking to upgrade from the ocean runner any suggestions?
I'm at the end of August and have around 1.8 mill. I'm looking to upgrade from the ocean runner to something bigger but not sure what to go with. I'm looking at the moby d but not sure how many deeplines it can hold. The ocean runner can hold 40 but I'm closing in on the max quota for tuna and sword fish with it.

moby d cant do longlines the full throttle only holds 12. i think the Ocean runner is the best for deeplines but the qouta's are way to small

artic pioneer, ( with a huge loan) , but the net fishing pays the boat. just remember to get the thruster on it.

Can you do deeplines with it?

A good ship for general fishing not deepline would be the Vibeke catherin. The ocean runner is a weird ship sure you can catch everything super fast but it has nearly no quotas. If you want to deepline then the vessel with the best quota for that is the full thrust ship but deepline is over by the end of october.

I get why you like the ship from being in the last game the Moby d unupgraded holds more fish than the fully upgraded cathrin it has the same amount of jobs but has room for two more crew members. I bought the cathrin and hated it so as soon as I found the Moby I loaded an old save so I could buy it. Worth the extra money IMO.

Not defending the Vibeke Cathrin but I hated the Moby D. It had a lot of cargo but it handled awfully. It was painfully slow and just unresponsive and there was no side thruster option for me. getting the damn longline in the right area to haul it in was such a frustrating experience for me. It didn't help that by the time I had it in game the fish prices from longline catches completely crashed to the point a full cargo hold on the Moby D was selling for about 40,000.

youve got a point it is a bit sluggish which takes some getting used to but for me it's worth it for the extra storage.

My suggestion is to not play for a month or so while the devs finish their game. This a joke of a release. Could have been a good game but it's not... seems to be the trend these days.

I know your peeved SuperNoobsauce, the game has promise and I am sure the major bugs will be fixed. If we all dont play then the bugs wont be found to be fixed. If you enjoy playing play if you dont take a break.

As for the original topic, there were three boats of similar size in the first game all with pros and cons choice is good.

It's time for everyone to request a refund regardless of the 2h window.
