How do you fast travel using a World Map?

I read on GameBanshee that you can do it, but I can't figure out how...I clicked on it a lot like I usually do, but it didn't work.

Do you refer to Drakensang The River of Time? I am asking because that game has fast travel while Drakensang The Dark Eye has not.

This is the forum for the first Drakensang game.

In any case in the second game called Drakensang The River of Time you have to be near a quick travel spot in order to go to another quick travel spot.

If you are refering to the overland travel in the first Drakensang The Dark Eye which in your case maybe not working then your FPS probably are too high. Alt - Tab out of the game and return may resolve that issue or you may have to limit your FPS in your graphics card setting to 60.

No, I have no issue and Yes, I was talking about this game.

Gamebanshee's Walkthru did say fast travel via the world map was possible in Chapter 7 after you enter the city, but I couldn't do it. Maybe they were mistaken?

OK now I know what you mean. This is not a general fast travel. It just lets you access the world map directly from that gate in Tallon.

And that doesnt work for you? Afair you have to go to that gate in order to use it.

I can access the world map, but not use it to travel anywhere. Yes, I tried it specifically at that gate.

I found it! It's a Map on the wall in Tallon just past the gate that you click on to World travel. Useful, if not clearly marked.

That's one of those things where you have to pay attention to what it actually says; "Just inside the gate you'll find a world map".

Later on when you get to the Dwarven city you just click on one of the gates to bring up the world map.

Yeah, I really like this game but it does have its issues..:)
