Highlight Option?

Ive scoured the Manual, and discussions, but cannot find much information about this largely unknown game.. Ids theer a way to highlight characters in the world, and items on the ground(plants, lootables, interactables, etc)? Its driving me absolutely insane having to mouse over every.single.person inthe game to find their name!

No there isn't. One would have to assume that the German's that made the game leaned towards a much harder play concept than we do here in the States.

Once I saw no quest markers over NPC's I knew I'd be floating my cursor over everything. For people / quest areas atleast you can open the map and look for the '?' symbol to get into the right area.

I dont mind not having quest markers, I actually prefer it.. Though, the minimap does seem to show them, I try to ignore it.. But not being able to see characters, or items is quite frustrating. Im still soldiering on, but not sure how long itll last.
