Better tools
I know these games don't get updates or even listen to feedback (sadly...), but my god is making maps tedious in this game, it literally revolves around the worst parts of making stuff in 3d.

Would it kill to add better map making tools, like some grid to place stuff better, a better resize stuff tool, etc...?

I'd love an option to just wield objects together, it would save a ton of time and effort.

Yeah, I'd LOVE a noclip button as well, like why is there not a noclip button at all...?

honestly somebody who actually cares about this idea needs to make a better version

well, if it had some kind of mod support... xD
the problem is that these devs make games monthly and I'm guessing they don't care about them that much once they release them, they did update Stacklands recently tho so idk why they wouldn't add some simple features to this one

I totally agree. There would be a few quality of life features that would've been just great. For example, image wielding like previously mentioned, an undo feature, or maybe a snap grid to place things down with more precision. The potential seems nearly infinite. I'm really hoping that Sokpop comes back around to Sokworld, even if it seems very unlikely.

I know they wanted it to be easy to get into with a simple style, but it is disappointing not to just be able to edit coordinates/rotation manually instead of dragging around. I guess the limitation is part of the experience, otherwise you might as well use a 3D modelling program?

there's definitely a pretty thin line here because yeah, if you give it enough useful tools then why not just make something in blender instead?

It's got a sort of "MS Paint Art" appeal as it is. It makes all the worlds more impressive when you realize how limited the toolset is.

I definitely find myself coming up with interesting ideas much quicker in sok-worlds. But that may just be the fact that you search a word and get a bunch of random images vaguely related to that word.
