So, this isn't a perfect game, but quite frankly I don't find it that bad. I'm actually having fun, no technical issues for me, guess I'm lucky! It just needs some polishing and patching. Punch Punk studio is not necessarily known for great games - but this is better than Zodiac. I feel like this may be their first step into the world of simulators - they were mostly working with narrative games before!

I agree. I will buy this game and I hope they fix it. The game needs a Roadmap for 2023 and beyond and regular updates. I do hope the Devs will :
1. add DLCs for more yachts from around the world ( Europe, Russia, etc )
2. add activities like yacht races ( coop play ?), sailing ( to different ports or coasts ), etc
3. scuba DLC or Deep sea fishing DLC, hidden odjects Map DLC (explore the map and sea )
4. add special features like more boat engines, repair tools upgrades, shop upgrades , paint upgrades ( fancy or custom boat paint )
5. music and radio for the game.

This is a great game for those that enjoy restoration sims. I have sunk some time into the game and I really enjoying my time, that is to say this game might not be for everyone. I would not mind seeing a more in dept engine break down and rebuild and also some stats to set apart similar items that are available with different prices. I look forward to what the Dev's will grace us with next not sure about anyone else but I would like to perhaps see a DLC with bigger Yachts (Mega/Super Yachts)

🔵 A casual Mechanics gameplay style with limited depth or `Simulation`.
🔵 Test boats on the water, but be careful NOT to damage them!
🔵 NOT a simulator, good enough for casual players but lacks any real depth or quality.
🔵 The price does reflect this and overall it is good value for money.

❌ Unfortunately we still have the floating head camera onboard.
❌ The floating head does not maintain height, so when you look around it goes higher/lower.
❌ There are a lot of long loading times and the game seems to hang in 4K
❌ The actual mechanics element of the game is pretty mediocre (and I am being nice).
❌ The water/boat physics are very ARCADEY and not Simulation level.
❌ Very linear and repetitive jobs available.
❌ I really dislike the way items are removed and refitted, really very poorly done.
❌ Textures are REALLY poor. Disappointingly poor.
❌ Career/Business model is weak and shallow.

⭐ The large yacht (from a distance) looks awesome!
⭐ The building you work in looks great.
⭐ The modelling of the BIG yacht is pretty decent (I do love that yacht!).

💡 Allow us to walk around, climb up, duck and get involved in the boats.
💡 Walking around the warehouse looking at the boat is great, so allow us to grab some tools and work on the boat from the ground too.

It's a simple game, yes. But for only $10 you can't expect more than what it is. There's some day one bugs that need to be worked out, like progression bars on washing / teak repair, but for all those complainers who are too stupid to realize there's a save option on your in-game laptop, you can do a simple save and reload to fix any UI issue there is and keep on progressing. You don't need to restart the whole mission.

The game is fine. Not game of the year by any means, but a chill time waster.

I've played this game for a few hours and for the most part I am enjoying it. Some of the tasks are a little annoying with the controls (I haven't tried adjusting the control settings yet, which may help). It's pretty much what I expected so far, with a couple exceptions. As others have mentioned, I'm not a big fan of the "floating" point of view, but it is useful for some aspects (pressure washing). I do hope a camera view option is added to simulate the player walking around on the boats. I also wish when taking the boats out for a test drive, you could walk around and inside the boat, instead of only the exterior and cockpit views. The game has only frozen up on me once so far, so overall it's performing pretty well. For the price, it was worth it for me. I trust the developers are working hard at making improvements with future updates and I look forward to that and appreciate it! I'm sure they put too much time into this to see it fail!

Pretty good game so far. I love boats and yachts so I was excited to try it and I'm enjoying my time so far. This is not like CMS nor does it have to be although I wish some mechanics were more in depth. Also, I'm not sure about the floating everywhere. I'd love to be able to walk on the boats and use the free camera for hard to reach places. Overall tho I'm happy with my purchase but there are a lot of issues as others have mentioned. In one instance I had my mouse pulling to the bottom of the screen and I couldn't even click anything. That's just one example. The game needs a lot of fixes and improvements but I will not refund and hang on to it. I believe the devs will make things right

So I bought this game yesterday and began playing it yesterday. Personally I think this game is really enjoyable I have not had any issues, where I will say this game is let down is the controls they are a bit odd to use and the quick menu thing is also annoying to use but overall I can highly recommend this game if u enjoy boats. I should mention this game only features various types of modern yachts although there are some older yachts.

Really enjoying this game so far. I always loved boats and yachts, but there was not any proper simulator/game about em. Big plus for the developers to take this idea to reality. At least for now, i have not ran into any bugs. Everyone is complaining about the camera but i do not find it bad. Only thing that is a bit off is the pie menu, my mouse when i open it is always somewhere in a weird position for example in the corner of the screen. This game has a lot of potential.

I want to like this more, I really do. But it needs sooo much work. It's playable but not enjoyable at its current point in development.
Horrible floaty balloon aspect when repairing or working on the boat. You don't walk around a vessel, you float like a disembodied head. Tools do not follow a realistic path or spray pattern. Play wrench for a better idea of what good is.
If you're going to have a scissor lift in game, then make it work. You may as well use a ladder or scaffolding like in real life. Also, I would shoot my boat builder if they used aquaprops like in this game. Needs keel support blocks in place.
Boat handling physics need serious work, just because the game engine has a default, it does not mean its good. You can't remove it now though. But please... work on it. It could be sooo good. Implement real boat steering, ie there is no auto-centering of the helm on a power boat. Nor most yachts with hydraulic steering. Implement mass/inertia based physics. All boats handle about their centre of mass, modified by their centre of buoyancy and control surface size/power x distance from the centre of mass. Boats are not cars, so don't just make them handle like a car with flat tires. Once it's going in a direction, including drifting sideways, it will generally keep going that way until you make it do something else, or it hits something, or the hull dynamics slowly straighten it out and its movement decays till it halts. Yes it will be harder to operate, but much more rewarding. Like a real boat.
The final test... Needs to be not so much a time trial, but a check the boat over at the ramp first, Unstrap and check for obvious external problems including problems with the trailer and straps>power on>check electronics for operation, nav lights,radio,gps,depth finder/sonar,tank guages and levels>fuel and water caps in place>fuel taps open and water traps clear>bungs in>radio aerials up>PFD's available>open sea chest valves for engine cooling> float it, check for problems and leaks into the bilges, check power consumption is normal, check cooling system for flow once the systems started(marine growth blocks pipes), check gears engage and disengage before departing trailer/wharf. Take the boat over there and berth it, or perform a task would be better, maybe catch a fish, deliver a package, utilise rules of the road at sea (colregs), lots of easy to implement memory games with real life rules here. Like vessel light configurations, sound signals for various manouvres and problems.
Current mini games are meant more for phone swipe mechanics by the feel of it.
Memory game as a place holder of something more meaningful in the repair table.
