The left-right control is kind of "floaty" and most gamers don't enjoy that. The intro theme is nice and all, but it's really long and can't be skipped. I had to take my restroom break and come back when the game really starts. (Too bad Axel had to hold it all the way through.) It seems like a long way between checkpoints. When I finally got to a new scene, I tried to save the game at the menu but got sent all the way back anyway....

I want to give this game a fair chance but at the very least you need to either have basic gamepad support or rebindable controls for the keyboard. The idea of a platforming game with such limited control options is silly.

I know the store page says Narrative Driven, but there's also a lot of advertised features like Exploration and Power Acquisition. Just curious if you'd describe it as a Metroidvania.
