Cooking Companions v2.0 Patch Notes (International players: please read)

Cooking Companions has been patched to v2.0! There are a few changes to the game (and some new secrets to discover) to get you ready for the sequel (Dread Weight, launching MONDAY July 29th!), as well as a complete revision to the script. Improvements to dialogue, grammar, and spelling have been made with this patch.

Unfortunately, due to the game engine, this caused all of the translations to break. Ren'Py defaults lines with changes to English (instead of the translation), so we made the difficult decision of removing the translation menu when you start up the game. The Steam page has been updated to reflect this removal, and we are VERY sorry for the change. If you have purchased Cooking Companions and still wish to play the pre-patched version, either email us, [e-mail], for access to the original version, or please get a refund through Steam.

The goal is to bring these translations back at some point: while we can’t give you an exact date, just know that it will eventually come back, improved and better for it.
