UPD: It would be better if you fixed the bugs in your demo
Will paste the explanation here: changing any of the existing text caused Ren'Py to display the English version of the text. With almost every line being edited in some capacity, this caused the entire game to be unplayable in those languages.
This decision wasn’t made lightly: we are HUMBLED by the reception to fans around the world, especially our Spanish/Japanese/Brazilian fans.
We’ve seen your playthroughs, fanart, and posts: we cannot thank you enough for enjoying Cooking Companions. THANK YOU for playing.
This isn’t the end, it was just the result of running out of time/funds prior to launching the sequel.
The goal is to bring these translations back at some point. While we can’t give you an exact date, just know that it will eventually come back, improved and better for it.
If you have bought Cooking Companions and want a refund (or access to the older build of the game), just email us with a receipt. We are SO sorry for making this decision.
Now I understand why I couldn't put the Spanish language back, I already played the game a couple of times and I was checking the kickstarter to donate for the sequel, I'm looking forward to it, we have to wait when they have the time to put the translations back into Spanish, thank you for the game and the story you develop.
