Will NFS payback work on PC with a controller?

the game support xbox controllers but the game itself isn't that great

It works perfectly fine with a controller on Origin. I guess EA just didn't fill out all the info. And I really like this game.

Tested on a low and cheap quality xbox controller, surprisingly it works!

it worked fine with a logitech f310 then that died so I tried my other logitech f310 and it doesn't work at all it works fine in other games so its not the controller

I have the deluxe edition and it says Controllers not Supported. This game wasn't designed to be used with a controller. Major bummer.

ignore it. The game works with a controller just fine...

its just an issue caused by that new controller notification on older games.
it works fine with controller.

100% worked fine with an controllers. I don't know why Steam says it not compatible when it is

Hello everyone!
I've tried playing this game with multiple controllers PS4, PS5, XBOXONE, XBOX360 and Third Party controllers like the Logitech F310 and Multiple steering wheels.
All of them worked great up until today on Steam and on Origin/EA.
