I bought the wrong game

So I wanted to buy my first NFS game. I heard that "Need for Speed Most Wanted" was the best NFS game so I saw that it was on sale and bought it. Then I realised after, that they were talking about the 2005 version not the 2012 version (remake?). I can figure out how to get the 2005 game working on an emulator but I want to know if I should just refund this game or I shouldn't because this game is worth it?

Why didn't you check the screenshots? You don't know what your game cover art looks like?

I did check it to make sure is looked good but I only checked on Steam and I didn't want to watch any gameplay videos because they would spoil the game for me. I did see the 2005 cover art but I thought is was an alternative cover

Honestly, both games are pretty cool!
You'll often hear people say that this is one of the worst in the franchise, but that's soo far from the truth. In my opinion, this is a really solid and fun racing game. The only problem is that it is called Most Wanted, because it doesn't have anything to do with the original game at all.
(By the way, its soundtrack is my favorite of the franchise)

i think in this is not a bad nfs game but the most wanted 2005 was better
