PS5 controller

Is there anyway I can get the PS5 controller i got to work with this game? I've linked my steam and origin accounts hoping doing that would let me run it thru steam since apparently only they have the drivers to run the controller on pc. Hate to have a game i cant play since nfs with a keyboard just sounds bleh lol.

Have you tried controller config because I use a random USB controller and by messing around in the settings.

No it wouldn't let me switch to controller configuration to try and assign key points to buttons. But it works perfectly fine on steam games with full controller support.
