Controller support?

I already have this on origin but have been trying to get a PS4 controller to work without the use of a third party tool to no avail. Does this version have proper steam overlay, and thus controller support?

Your ds4 works like a xbox controller in steam, so yes. Unless there's something broken with the game.

For whatever reason with this game using the Steam controller settings makes your controller operate like a keyboard. You will have to get in game and select the profile or make one for the controller to work.

If you have an X input controller you will have the option of the above method or going to the game properties and force off the Steam per game setting. This will make the game properly detect your controller.

I had to ask for a refund because the game doesnt work with my switch controller or xbox one controller :/ I tried but it never wanted to work.

Works with my XBox One Controller and supports 3440 x 1440 Wide Screen.

Had to return cous non of my controllers worked even looking at EA forums there were problem even before the steam launch of this game. If you guys that say its working please make a guide. Can't really depend on EA when they just threw this ♥♥♥♥ on steam.

I'm using a controller but still I'm not able to set it to play I have both ds4 and xbox one controllers and not working I don't want to refund.

Ive read that if you unplug your keyboard while using a controller it works perfectly.

So after being frustrated and returning the game something popped into my head i went back and got the game again to test something, the controller support is there and what i mean by that is it the game reads as if your still on M/kb. You have to go into settings and remap the controls to whatever the controls you want for the game. Stupid i know but once you remap them to your liking the controls work and your able to play the game. So once the beginning cutscene is over go into settings for the game and go down to where your "controls" are and remap them.(Assuming the game reads your pad). Your probs going to need to use your arrow keys for abit but it'll be fine when your done remaping. Its not a 100% fix you might have to go back and remap certain things for menues and such but it works. Below i left a link for the controller guide for the PS3 version that i used to make it so its somewhat of a guide to map the "default" controller scheme. (theres also a Xbox 360 controller control if you wanna look at that instead). I hope this helps somewhat be able to play the game with the controller.

Hi. I tried to rebind as u suggested but some bind are not working like i can't bind all my R1/R2 and L1/L2. (I didn't try my right stick and R3 and L3 button yet) So i cannot play and. Maybe this is an Origin problem
