Steering is Too Loose
How in the world are you supposed to play this game? I started with the Mustang and the steering sensitivity is turned all the way down and its tuned for steering instead of drifting.

If I push the wiggle stick in even the slightest direction while accelerating it over steers and sends the car out of control.

How in the hell are you supposed to play this? Is there something I am missing?

You have to tune your handling and buy the right set of tires to fix either too loose steering which is ideal for drifting or too hard steering

I’m guessing you need to unmap the wheel settings. The car is undriveable until you do.

What do you mean unmap the wheel settings? I don't have a wheel.

its completely out of control and unusable.

Its not just too loose in the sense its a drift car, its so sensative that if I barely touch the stick to turn it spins out of control. Its not even playable.

Ok, I see where the wheel controls are, but how do I unmap them? They won't take any inputs and I can't seem to delete them completely.

This game lacks proper controller support, if you own a XBOX ONE controller, go in your steam input settings and turn on xbox one gamepad support, then in this game's properties choose the controller support to Xbox. By default the game does not recognise analog inputs on controllers.

If you own a ps4 controller download DS4Windows app that emulates a xbox controller and do the rest like i described above.

If you own any other kind of controller, i won't guarantee it will work, third party hardware rarely works in these games.
This game look like it has ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ potential but cant enjoy it like i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ want to cause the game doesnt have proper xinput controls. ♥♥♥♥!

Finally got it to work after figuring out how to disable the Wheel mapping. That seemed to be the answer.

I didn’t have any trouble like this in Heat. It just worked. This was ridiculous.

Yeah it’s bs. But controller works fine afterwards. Unfortunately you have to go it every time you play. Typical ea product.

i use the handling fine tune mod for grip cars and the vanilla game for drift cars while playing via keyboard.
unless i am missing something this game has the worst most uninstuitive steering i have ever experience in a game... running the toyota f86 i think if i touch the brakes while steering it will go instant 90 degree into the wall???? :S
